Today is 初四, what a fair day.

and I felt the heart and mind conflict thing... but it's great to know tt the brain still dominates or I'll  be really disappointed with myself. not tt this had never happened before, it's just tt... Previously, the brain was on the same side as the heart.

I realised, we're proceeding into the 7th day of the new year! and THIS is my first blog of the year. A little late xP but still.. HAPPY 2010!!! Have a blessed and joyful year ahead =D although we're getting closer to 2012 >.< If casting 2012 aside will make a happier year, then pls do. We still have 2011 in between =) be positive=D

A good year, a good start=D

We celebrated granny's birthday at a very VERY different place this year, at a KTV at Serangoon Garden. I have a very cool grandmother xD

and for the first time in our lives, we heard some adults sing. A bit of generation gap though hahahaha =O with canto and hokkien songs sung too!

I confess this is embarrassing.. hahaha but what to do.. it's my first time using the oven in my life having been a MEP student for all my sec school and jc life. No home econs for me=/ erhem excuses xP So I was intending to bake matcha cookies which look like this

BUT NO!!! It happily turned out like this

hahaha EPIC FAILURE MAN =((( WHAT IS THIS?!?!?!?! The cookies seem to have melted in the oven =///

I scraped the thing using a knife and it took damn long a time and yeah! tremendous effort.. and what did i get? Crumps =((( surprisingly it tasted SUPERB xP of course it had to be~ after so much work! But since it's the first time this oven is used after we moved into the house, I'm glad that the oven is even WORKING=) Our musicians can now fix a date to change our profession=D yay!! No more failures i hope =D=D with more professional bakers around xD
